About Sydney

Sydney completed her undergraduate degree at Indiana University in May 2023 with a degree in International Law and Russian. Her passion for democracy and policy started in her freshman year of highschool, when she joined a student run organization dedicated to civic engagement: the Junior State of America. Ever since, she has worked towards getting young people more involved in politics and finding ways to amplify their voices. 

As the only member of Generation Z currently running for city council, Sydney hopes to bring a new perspective to solving issues in Bloomington and represent communities that have been previously underserved.

Sydney loves iced matcha lattes, meeting new people, and her cat, Nova Scotia. She hopes to meet with as many people in District 6 as possible, and humbly serve the community in which she has lived for her entire adult life.
